First thoughts
This movie was giving
teas at every angle.
Also, this was a very long movie. I don’t know why it needed to be that long.

Full Story
Samantha is the wayward child of Chief Marcus. All she does is party, get drunk, and do whatever else that is disastrous to both herself and her father’s image.
On her way back home from one of her crazy, drunk-filled nights, she and her friend, Vera are robbed by a petty thief. The experience makes Chief Marcus very fearful for her life and on the advice of his campaign manager, Mabel, he hires a bodyguard to keep Samantha safe.
The bodyguard Tega resumes work and Samantha doesn’t make his life any easier. On his first day of work, Samantha tried to drug him but that didn’t work. She fights him and insults him at every chance she gets.
Tega is no punk though as he doesn’t take any nonsense from her. He basically parents her by never letting her have her way and giving her his piece of mind if need be.
Vera comes visiting and when she sees Tega, she starts flirting with him because she thinks he’s hot. She wonders why Samantha hasn’t given it a go with Tega. Later that day, Samantha has a wet dream of Tega and somehow, kind of tells him. He mocks her though.
One day, while going to one of her many parties, she snorts coke. Tega drags her out of the party and takes her home. At home, she pukes and passes out. Tega asks the maid, Loveth to clean Samantha up which she does but the next morning, Samantha wakes up, threatening to lock Tega up for sexual harassment.
He tells her that he didn’t do anything other than carry her heavy self from the floor to the bathroom and to the bed. Samantha then appeals to him not to tell her father, Chief Marcus. Tega doesn’t agree at first but gives in when he sees that she is desperate.
From then on, he and Samantha have some sort of understanding. She is still a brat but not too much with Tega anymore. There is some level of respect. So one day, she goes to a private lounge to meet with Vera. Tega scans the place and is uncomfortable but Samantha brushes off his concerns.
From then on, he and Samantha have some sort of understanding. She is still a brat but not too much with Tega anymore. There is some level of respect. So one day, she goes to a private lounge to meet with Vera. Tega scans the place and is uncomfortable but Samantha brushes off his concerns.
Unfortunately, his concerns turn out to be true as a gunman shoots at Samantha. Tega takes the bullet for her and he is hospitalised. When he returns from the hospital, however, Samantha seems to have developed a crush on him. She is very caring towards him, she apologises for her bad behaviour and even kisses him.
Even though Tega liked the kiss, he knows it would put his job at stake, so he starts avoiding her. Only showing up to work when necessary. This makes Samantha want him even more and she confronts him. Tega explains the reason why he cannot be romantic with her but Samantha convinces him and they kiss and they
Dating Tega begins to make a positive impact on Samantha’s life. She stops partying and starts working for her father. She becomes very involved with his political campaign and just being generally very helpful. That is until the video of her snorting coke gets leaked online and her father is upset. He is so disappointed, that he demands that she return to America and never return.
Samantha begs and does what she can to get her father’s forgiveness. She even issues out a statement but it is a little too late as her father loses the primaries because of her actions. She still begs nonetheless. Later on, while mourning the loss of her father’s election, Tega confesses his love to her and they sit on her bed, as he holds and comforts her.
Chief Marcus barges into her room and catches them. This upsets him even more as he realises that the reason he never got told about Samantha snorting coke was because Tega was compromised. He fires Tega and bans his daughter from dating him.
Samantha begs her father to accept her relationship with Tega but Chief Marcus calls Tega a thug not good enough for his precious daughter. Samantha tries to elope with Tega but he refuses, saying that her father is too rich and powerful for them to evade.
Finally, she wears her father down and he approves of her relationship with Tega.

It was an okay movie. I don’t think I enjoyed that much but I wouldn’t say I hated it or was bored by it. I think the movie was fine.
Do you agree with me?
