I may be wrong in the end, but based on the facts presented, that is the only logical conclusion I could make.

Yancy got his job back

Remember in Episode 1, Yancy had a court case with Bonnie’s husband for hitting his golf cart and launching him into the river. The case was dropped and Yancy got his job back.

Well…
Sort of.

The only condition that was given for Yancy to get his job back was that he would not return as a detective. So his boss, Sonny, gave Yancy something else to do – RESTAURANT INSPECTOR.

Yancy hates it but he needs a job so…

Caitlin gives new information

Eve is trying to cash out the life insurance policy on Mr. Stripling’s head.

Caitlin also revealed that Eve has a boyfriend in The Bahamas and his name is Christopher – the same Christopher, Neville wants to kill.

The very same Christopher who is the property developer.

The bees

Yancy’s plan worked. They attacked the developer and the buyers he brought over. He had to run into the river to save himself.

Well, he did tell his customers that the house was going to blow their minds.

Yancy was almost killed

A black SUV with tinted windows had been following him around all day. First, it was parked outside his home watching him and followed him while he was in a car with Bonnie. Then finally, it almost ran him over.

Whoever was driving it wanted to run Yancy over. Yancy was lucky to have gotten out of the way as quickly as he could.

Neville lost his home

Eve was tired of seeing Neville on the beach so she told Christopher to get rid of him. Christopher told his muscle/butler, Egg, to get rid of Neville.

Neville went to fish and when he returned, his home had been bulldozed to pieces. Neville being unhappy goes to The Dragon Queen to complain and she tells him that he isn’t patient.

She also tells him that if he wanted a faster result, he should have paid for that.

Charles lost his job at the bar

Since Christopher bought the whole island – it seems – Charles lost his job. The bar he worked in was getting a facelift to be more appealing to tourists. They hired a bunch of pretty young women as bartenders and waitresses.

Charles being defiant steals a wad of cash from the cash register. It was smart at the time but proved to be a stupid idea in the end because Egg finds out via the newly installed CCTV camera.

Egg visits Charles and beats him up.

Rosa is obsessed

With the severed arm. Everything she sees is the arm and that wristwatch tan line. She was able to find out what watch he was wearing and it cost a whopping $220,000.

Also, Rosa is nasty

She stole the top off one of the corpses at the morgue/lab she works at.

Disgusting.

The severed arm is Christopher’s arm

I think Eve killed Mr Stripling but I don’t think the arm belongs to Mr Stripling. I believe the arm belongs to Christopher.

My theory

My theory is that Eve and Christopher murdered Mr Stripling and threw his body in the swamp for crocodiles to eat him. So in a bid to explain away Mr Stripling’s disappearance, they needed something and that thing was an arm in the ocean.

Christopher severed his arm and hired Mr. Pussy Magnet to fake it as a random fishing catch. After the arm was discovered and buried, Eve was hoping it would die down but it didn’t because of Yancy and Rosa.

Eve is the mastermind

She married Mr. Stripling for his money and the life insurance policy. She is currently manipulating Caitlin to cash it out so that she can use it to pay for the land both she and Christopher have bought in The Bahamas.

I think they are in debt though and are desperate for that life insurance policy money. I also think that Eve is going to make Caitlin relapse so that she can have full access to the money.

Bone fragments in the Shower

Yancy and Rosa found bone fragments in the shower – the Stripling’s mansion shower. They think the shards belong to Mr Stripling but it doesn’t. They are Christophers.

Bonnie is a Pedophile

Earlier in the episode, Bonnie told Yancy she was leaving town.
Later in the episode, we find out why. A lady from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation visited Yancy and told him something interesting.

Bonnie’s real name is Plover Chase. She was once a high school English teacher who had sexual relations with one of her students.

To avoid prosecution, she jumped bail and has been on the run ever since.

The Dragon Queen is indeed a powerful Babalawo.

But she doubts her power. Her grandmother, Yaya, is her confidence booster, and her cheerleader. The only one who believes in The Dragon Queen’s abilities.

The Dragon Queen is able to see that Neville’s issue with Christopher is much bigger than Neville thinks it is. Neville and Christopher aren’t the only two people entangled in this web. There are more people and soon enough, everything will be revealed.

To cool off, Neville travelled to meet his sister. Do you want to guess where his sister lives?

She also owns a coffee shop. The same coffee shop Yancy and Rosa were meeting at to discuss the test results of the bone fragments they found in the Stripling home.
