Chinasa did it and I’m glad she did.

Remember in my last blog post on the first 3 episodes, I said three things. For now, I am at a 1/3.

I was wrong about the character Emeka Nwagbaraocha was playing being the one who killed Marcus.
I was wrong about Ahmad being a red herring.
I was RIGHT about how Chinasa killed Marcus.

How Marcus died

That perv was about to rape Shalewa. When Chinasa walked in on him on top of Shalewa, she tried to run away. However, she couldn’t because Marcus wanted to rape her too. So she hit him on the back of his head and he died.

I should have known

That a 28-year-old “dating” a 16-year-old is so morally reprehensible, there are no limits to his depravity.

Chinasa killing Marcus was her doing the Lord’s work. He deserved to die.

Chinasa

After confessing to the gang, Chinasa sort of manipulated the rest of her classmates into staying mum about the whole situation.

However, someone ratted her out and nobody knows who did.

My guess? Chinasa ratted herself out and here is my reason:

At the start of the episode, we see her cutting her hair while remembering how she confessed to the crime. Then she made a very nice dinner for her mother and while she prayed over the food, her prayers were quite ominous. It was as if she was saying goodbye to her mother.

But then Mr Obasi said;

Someone told him about Chinasa’s confession and then he alerted the police. I am still going to stick to my theory. I’m not going to confuse myself.

Ahmad…

He wasn’t a red herring after all. Dude was a stupid rich kid who allowed jealousy to ruin his life.

Now, if Marcus wasn’t such a creep, Ahmad would have gotten away with it because Marcus would go home with the poison in his system, sleep and never wake up again.

However, Marcus just couldn’t resist the urge of perversion.

Oh, someone is blackmailing him

This show is very Pretty Little Liars-coded; very I Know What You Did Last Summer-coded (without the slasher violence, of course).

Ahmad has been getting text messages saying “I know what you did at the party” or something like that on his phone and that is the new mystery. Who is blackmailing Ahmad?

My guess is

DIANE!

My reasoning is lazy but bear with me. Diane is a character played by Jemima Osunde. Up until this point the character has been very useless but she does have a very defining trait:

DIANE IS VERY VERY VERY SELF-CENTRED.

I think Diane was sleeping with Marcus.
I lowkey think Diane ratted Chinasa out.
Diane refused to help with Marcus’ body.
Why on earth will they have Jemima Osunde in a show and not utilize her? She is the biggest star of the younger cast. She MOST DEFINITELY is going to be the big bad of the entire show.
