Yes, they showed her bleeding but her reaction to the blood was more of embarrassment than pain.

Anyway, let’s get on with my reaction to the two episodes.

Terminator Zero Episode 1

The Terminator is killing people. The way it just stepped on that guy’s head is sickening.
A girl is hiding in the closet, whimpering.

She is so dead.

She got out of the closet and bombed the Terminator’s face. The fake flesh melted off its face to reveal its metal skeleton.

The girl was out of ammo and ran to the bridge.

Why is she standing in the middle of the bridge? She could have easily run away.

The Terminator is now at the bridge and shooting at her. She used a rope to swing around under the bridge to dodge the bullets.

How is it raining bullets and she hasn’t died yet?

She stabbed the Terminator in the eye to upload something and the Terminator rebooted while it was holding on to her as she was holding on to the rope.

That rope is going to cut. I would like to see how they would make her survive after the rope cuts.

Nope! The rope didn’t cut. She kicked the sleeping Terminator and it fell. Then she dragged herself back up to the bridge.

Who is this girl and why does she keep surviving despite everything?

1997

For an old man with a grey beard, he looks ripped.

His name is Malcolm Lee and he has three kids. He is also joyless because I don’t understand why his kids can’t have a pet robot cat in the house.

I don’t understand why Malcolm is very flippant with everyone. Also, how does he know about the nuclear explosion in the future?

Is he a soothsayer?

He has an Artificial intelligence he calls Kokoro whom he speaks to like a person.

If he trusts this machine so much, why doesn’t he want his kids to have a robot cat at home?

2022

The girl at the start, the one who survived the Terminator? Her name is Eiko.

The files Eiko got from the Terminator are about time travel. Skynet has discovered time travel.

That Terminator who fought Eiko isn’t dead.

Of course not, it is a robot.

So there is an assembly line of Terminators made by industrial machinery whose sole purpose is to ensure the end of mankind.

I am guessing.

Malcolm is only 32.

I did not know that. I saw a full white beard and assumed 52.
Someone’s follicle is ageing like milk.

One of those newly minted Terminators has been sent to the past – 1997 – to kill Malcolm.

Terminator Zero Episode 2

Eiko wants to time travel but her friend doesn’t want her to because it is a one-way trip.
The prophet wants Eiko to go and gives her a pep talk about not letting anyone get in her way.
Eiko challenges her with a:

How do we know what you’re saying is not bullshit.

The prophet replied in other words:

Go, don’t go, your future is bleak.

That was brutal but the prophet is right. They have no future in the world they are currently living in.

Eiko immediately took off her robe and entered the “time transporter?”. While she is in it, the Terminator she fought breaks into the facility and it is killing people.

I need to start calling the Terminator a “he”.
The killing is so gory.

Eiko is in the past: August 29, 1997, to be precise.

This Koneko robot cat is giving Chucky teas.

Kenta is a dickhead.
The kids are running away and their nanny, Misaki is inside the toilet doing God knows what.

Did she bleed to death?

No, she didn’t. She’s alive.
But she is acting weird. Is she a robot?

I have more questions than answers.

Malcolm told his A.I. Kokoro that once Skynet launches it would unleash a nuclear war where the robots would exterminate humans.

What I don’t understand is – how the hell does Malcolm know all of this?

So, he is like a prophet?

Kokoro is a sick bitch. She said:

What if the world is better off without mankind?

Malcolm please, turn off this bitch.

Kokoro said Malcolm created her to fight Skynet.

That means Malcolm doesn’t work for Skynet.
I am confused.

Malcolm said the children are the most important thing.

Yet you don’t have time for them. Are these children even yours?

Where is the Terminator Skynet sent? Has he arrived in 1997 yet?

Reika’s siblings have found her and she is determined to run away with that damned Chucky cat.

I’m tired of this kid.

Yes, the Terminator is here and he is here to kill Malcolm.

It has been a while since I have watched anything Terminator-related and my God is it strong… and mindless and mission-oriented.

It will not stop until it has accomplished its mission.

Eiko arrived just in time to save Malcolm from the Terminator.

Malcolm left while Eiko was busy with the Terminator. He told Misaki to find the kids and for some reason, he said:

I order you

to Misaki.

I ask again, is Misaki a robot?

Eiko wants to stop Malcolm from creating Kokoro the A.I.

I hope she succeeds because Kokoro is a sick bitch.

Malcolm’s kids found the INNO robot warehouse.
