I love Sofia. The way she is so good at sensing Oz’s nonsense is phenomenal. He may have deceived her with the false claims that The Maronis killed her brother but she doesn’t trust The Penguin and will never trust him.

Oz is very unlikeable but I respect his manipulation tactics. That man is a slimy and slippery snake. He will say just about anything to save himself.

Oz told Victor that he got his start working for Pinchy, but then Pinchy ‘got popped’ by Carmine for talking to the Feds. After Pinchy’s death, Carmine saw something in Oz and kept him around. 

We all know who killed Pinchy… Oz. I bet he lied to Carmine that Pinchy was a rat.

The way Sofia is being built as the antithesis of Oz is amazing. She is such a scary person: look at this still, she was asleep and did this to herself.

I don’t like Oz’s mother. She puts unnecessary pressure on him to be “great” which I think messed him up in the head. He is so desperate to succeed even if it kills him.

In every episode, a crime family wants to kill Oz. But somehow he escapes. 

About the photos Oz found in Episode 1

The pictures were of Johnny Viti, Carmine’s underboss having sexual relations with Carmine’s sister-in-law, Luca Falcone’s wife.

It is unclear why Carmine needed the photos… oh wait, was Carmine trailing Johnny Viti to get rid of him?

Is Johnny Viti a problem? He might be, especially when he has no qualms about sleeping with his friend’s wife. That is so shady and repugnant.

Oz frames someone again

Oz killed Maroni’s guy and he planted the knife on Sofia’s guy, Castilo which led to Castilo’s death. Sofia’s uncle, Luca Falcone, killed him. Luca also ousted Sofia telling her to leave Gotham. 

These useless people have basically taken over her father’s business.

To ensure that the framing was concrete, Oz also planted the jewels in Castilo’s apartment. 

Oz is diabolical. Evil to the core. 

My mistake

I guess I was wrong about Sofia never trusting Oz because, at the end of the episode, she wants to work with him to fight her uncle.

This won’t end well for her.
