Happy Black History Month to my beautiful, wonderful people.
And welcome to February 2025.
Paradise Episode 2
This episode focuses on Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond and how Paradise came to be. And it so happens that she used to work with Cal’s dad, Kane Bradford.
This guy was the one who designed and built the underground city, Paradise.
Sinatra and her husband met at a bar and the man didn’t really care that she was wealthy.
The dude was happy with his life and was just living it the best way he knew how – devoid of jealousy or greed of what others had that he didn’t.
I see why she married him. She knew she would always be safe with him because he was not a fortune hunter.
The reason why Xavier can’t sleep is because he keeps having nightmares.
His mind replays the moment his wife died.
Sinatra is lying to the billionaires that Cal died from “natural causes”.
I get not trying to scare the twenty-five thousand people who live in this fancy grave called an underground city but lying to them is just stupid.
Unless she has something to hide.
I wonder what made Samantha cold. She used to be so much happier in the past.
Oh no… Her son. What happened to him?
Why did he faint while eating ice cream? Was he allergic to it?
So it is clear now, that Xavier’s wife is dead.
I don’t understand why Robinson is carrying out the lie detector test. She was sleeping with Cal, shouldn’t that exclude her from carrying out the investigation?
Xavier was asked if he took anything from the crime scene and he said “no”.
That is a lie and it is definitely going to haunt him.
Xavier just announced to the whole room that Robinson was sleeping with Bradford.
LOL. Embarrazzment.
Why did Dr Torabi tell him to “Say Yes”?
The answer is the truth but why did she feel the need to write an answer for him on her palm?
Sinatra told Xavier to take a break and when he wanted to object she said “I am more important.”
The red flags are red flagging with this woman. Something is not right with her. If she didn’t kill the president, she definitely was thinking about killing him.
Why is Presley following the late President’s son, Jeremy?
Are they friends or is she just nosey?
Samantha started dressing drab and sterile after her son died.
So Cal and Samantha have been long-time friends and they first heard about the world coming to an end at a conference they attended together.
By the way, the climate change talk guy is a douche.
Samantha took his advice and did just that. She dug the biggest hole and got in along with 25,000 other people.
I guess losing her son made her obsessed with surviving.
They swore in a new president.
Well, that was quick. I guess presidents come and go but Paradise abides.
Xavier wants to take Sinatra down and he is telling Billy his plans.
I don’t think that is wise.
Xavier burned the cigarette that had a set of numbers on it. But then while he was burning it, they showed a plane as well.
Either there is a plane with those numbers or there is a safe inside the plane they showed that needs those numbers to open it.
Final Thoughts
This episode wasn’t as jaw-dropping as the first but it explains why they live in that city. Honestly, I think Sinatra facilitated the end of the earth after her son died.

Sense or nah?
